Marine Engineer from kolkata gone missing on board ship
Sambit Majumder, a 50 year merchant navy officer working onboard ship as 2nd engineer.
He was from Kolkata, naktala, westbengagal.
As, reports say he was from the crude oil tanker that was on its way from Singapore to south Korea.
The ship he was working in is Liberian flag vessel- MT Serengeti.
He was joined in ship on after Feb 4 .
The company he worked for is Dynacom Tankers Management.
On Tuesday, he had dinner with his colleagues and left to cabin around 8:30pm.(source said)
On Wednesday i.e. 17/June/2020. we went missing from the ship.
on thursday morning, he was absent for breakfast. later crew checked his cabin there is no response and capton imformed to the company then imformed to the 2nd engineers family members by fleet officials.
Till to date there is no update over the incident. official are on investigation.
